So long Harry Potter

In honor of the premier night of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” I would like to dedicate a post to the ever evolving Hermione Granger, also known as Emma Watson. After wrapping the last film of the series, Emma decided to cut off her messy Hermione locks and trade it in for a shorter, pixie look…a la Mia Farrow. I am a big fan of this shorter ‘do on Emma, I think it makes her look more mature and ready to take on any role outside of “Harry Potter.”

In a recent interview with Marie Claire magazine Emma said, “I’ve wanted to do it since I was about 16, and when Harry Potter ended in June, I just needed a change, it was quite symbolic for me. It’s very short; it was buzzed at the back and on the sides. And it’s really liberating that I can walk out without thinking about it.” To read the full article, pick up Marie Claire now on stands. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” now in theaters.
