From now on our troubles will be miles away…

Christmas time is finally here, to me that means our Christmas tree is decorated in all its glory. In the next week everyone will return home and I will be happier than ever. Remember, “the best way to spread Christmas cheer, is singing loud for all to hear….”

Some favorite Christmas scenes:

Love Actually, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”

Mean Girls, “Jingle Bell Rock.”

Elf, “Baby It’s Cold Outside.”

Some favorite Christmas songs:

Trans Siberian Orchestra, “Christmas Canon,” this song brings me to tears every time.

Josh Groban, “O Holy Night.”

John Lennon, “Happy Christmas (War Is Over).”

Frank Sinatra, “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.”

Our Christmas tree pictures:

Mom with her little EKG ornament.

Lola, in her Christmas sweater, taking in the new Christmas tree scent. *ahhhhhh*

Yep, another dog picture: Lola hanging up her “Lola” ornament.

*ahhh* “look at the treeee,” “it’s a nice tree.”

I was pretty bored last night so I started baking and came up with this really cute idea…..ummm I love her:

Some inspiration pictures and a quote to end the days post:

“Every event has a purpose and every setback its lesson. I have realized that every failure, whether of the personal, professional, or even spiritual kind, is essential to personal expansion. It brings inner growth and a whole host of psychic rewards. Never regret your past. Rather, embrace it as the teacher that it is.”

So long Harry Potter

In honor of the premier night of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” I would like to dedicate a post to the ever evolving Hermione Granger, also known as Emma Watson. After wrapping the last film of the series, Emma decided to cut off her messy Hermione locks and trade it in for a shorter, pixie look…a la Mia Farrow. I am a big fan of this shorter ‘do on Emma, I think it makes her look more mature and ready to take on any role outside of “Harry Potter.”

In a recent interview with Marie Claire magazine Emma said, “I’ve wanted to do it since I was about 16, and when Harry Potter ended in June, I just needed a change, it was quite symbolic for me. It’s very short; it was buzzed at the back and on the sides. And it’s really liberating that I can walk out without thinking about it.” To read the full article, pick up Marie Claire now on stands. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” now in theaters.

Hermione before.

Emma After.

To yall going to see HP7 I hope you enjoy. To everyone else, it’s FRIDAY!!! xx
